The installation site of the photovoltaic (PV) station is located at “Agios Georgios”, D.K Schimatariou , D.E Schimatariou , Municipality of Tanagra in Viotia Grrece. The area of the plot, as seen in the aerial photo, is 15,764 sq m .

BASIC EQUIPMENT

PV FRAMES

The PV panels are from the Chinese company Longi and a total of 1,136 pcs were installed , all of the same nominal power of 440W. The frame type is Longi LR 4-72 HPH 440 M . The PV panels are accompanied by Flash Reports where their " Flashed Power" is listed as measured for each one separately (in combination with the unique manufacturer number - barcode ).

POWER INVERTERS

The inverters are from the Chinese manufacturer Huawei , three-phase, " string " type inverter ”, and have protection (tightness class) IP65 for external installation (outdoor installation). A total of 5 inverters will be installed . The type of inverters is Huawei 100 KTL - H 1. CE certification and follow the following safety standards: • IEC/EN 62109-1, IEC/EN 62109-2, EN 61000-6-2, EN 61000-6-3, EN 61000-3-11, EN 61000-3-12 They also follow the following network standards: • CEI 0-21, CEI 0-16, DIN V VDE V 0126-1-1, VDE-AR-N 4105, G59/3, EN 50438 (not for all national appendices), RD 1699, RD 413, RD 661, PO 12.3, AS 4777, BDEW, NRS-097-2-1, MEA, PEA, IEC 61727, IEC 60068, IEC 61683, VFR-2014, IEC 62116

PV FRAMES SUPPORT SYSTEM

The PV panels were installed on single-axis trackers from the Deger company. The model used is the S100-PF-SR and a total of 18 trackers were installed.

CONFIGURATION OF THE SPACE

The installation area of the PV system has been properly prepared to facilitate the installation of the support systems of the PV panels and the rest of the equipment based on the layout plan .

SUBSTATION

KVA substation was installed at the entry point of the plot to gather the power from the inverters with the least losses.

The quality system for the design and manufacture of the SM6 series cells is harmonized with the requirements and standards of the ISO 9001 quality regulations.

OTHER ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

DC CABLES

For the electrical connection of the PV panels to each other, a special type of cable is used, where its conductive material is copper, of suitable cross-section, flexible, non-flammable and has specifications for protection against ultraviolet radiation and operation at high temperatures.

CABLES A .C

For the AC part of the PV Station, NYY type cables (J1VV-R) manufactured according to VDE-0271. The cross-sections of the cables and conductors are such that the voltage drop, in NOCT conditions and at MPP voltage, from the output of the PV Panels to the inverters is less than 1%.

COMMUNICATION CABLES

• UTP cable for image transmission from cameras. • LIYCY(TP) for transmitting signals from the inverters and other sensors to the control center. • LIYCY(TP) to create a CAN network BUS for the control and operation of the trackers.

GROUNDING AND LIGHTNING PROTECTION

Earthings, external protection and equivalent protections of the park.

Earthing (external protection and equipotential connections) complies with IEC (EN) 62305 – 3 for Protection Level III.

PROTECTION OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES FROM SHOCK VOLTAGE

  • Protection of the General Installation Panel H.T. from direct and indirect AC lightning strikes.
  • self-consumption table from direct and indirect lightning strikes in alternating current.
  • Protection of sub-tables self-consumptions from indirect lightning strikes in alternating current.
  • CCTV circuit protection indirect lightning strikes on direct current.

PV STATION MONITORING SYSTEM

The facilities include appropriately selected sensors for measuring parameters and data of the operation of the PV plant, i.e. solar radiation intensity sensors, outdoor temperature and operating temperature sensors of the PV generators, instantaneous power and energy meters at the output of the PV and inverter etc. The continuous recording system of the system operating parameters is compatible with the inverter technology . The monitoring system records and stores the data to allow continuous analysis of the performance of the PV park.
