PV Schimatari 2nd 498.96 kWp

The installation site of the photovoltaic (PV) station is located in the area of Agios Georgios in Schimatari, Perfecture of Viotia. The area of the plot is 16710.39 sq m .

The total maximum power of the photovoltaic plant amounts to 498.96kWp. The PV station consists of a total of 1512 PV panels with a power of 300W each.

The PV panels are of 330W power from the European house HAWWHA Q CELLS and a total of 1516 photovoltaic panels were installed , all of the same nominal power of 300W and with exactly the same geometric dimensions.

They are accompanied by FlashReports where their ” Flashed Power” is written as measured for each one separately (in combination with the unique manufacturer number – barcode ) before they leave the factory.

The inverters are from the European manufacturer FRONIUS and are three-phase, ” stringinverter ” type, i.e. they connect parts of the PV system directly to the grid and have protection (tightness class) IP65 for external installation (outdoor installation).

They have CE certification and follow the following safety standards:

IEC/EN 62109-1, IEC/EN 62109-2, EN 61000-6-2, EN 61000-6-3, EN 61000-3-11, EN 61000-3-12

They also follow the following network standards:

CEI 0-21, CEI 0-16, DIN V VDE V 0126-1-1, VDE-AR-N 4105, G59/3, EN 50438 (not for all national appendices), RD 1699, RD 413, RD 661, PO 12.3, AS 4777, BDEW, NRS-097-2-1, MEA, PEA, IEC 61727, IEC 60068, IEC 61683, VFR-2014, IEC 62116

The more general spatial and electrical topology of the PV station is mainly determined by the way the PV generators are interconnected with the inverters according to the electrical characteristics (voltage – current) of the output of the former and input (voltage) of the latter. Specifically the 15 inverters where each one is connected to 5 parallel strings of 22 PV generators in series.

The strings are connected to the inverter and the outputs of the inverters go to the low-medium voltage substation. There they are connected to the waits of the General Low Voltage Panel (G.P.X.T.) where they are secured and interrupted. The exit of G.P.X.T. is connected to the 0.4 kV / 20 kV step-up transformer , to whose secondary is assigned the power under AC Medium Voltage. The three-pole output of the transformer passes through the General Medium Voltage Panel where it is secured and disconnected. Next is the connection to the PPC Medium Voltage network. In almost all stages through which the power of the generators passes, there are devices for measuring, monitoring and protecting the network and the load.
