PV Mentiti 499,90kW

The installation site of the photovoltaic (PV) station is in the location “Mediti” of the Municipal Community of Agios Thomas, of the Municipal Unit of Oinophyton of the Municipality of Tanagra of the Regional Unit of Viotia. The area of the plot is 10,124.38 sq.m. and the total area covered by the photovoltaic panels is 4,270.38 sq.m.

BASIC EQUIPMENT

PV FRAMES

The PV panels are from the Chinese company Longi and a total of 1136 pcs were installed, all of the same nominal power of 440W. Also, they all have exactly the same geometric dimensions. The PV panels are accompanied by Flash Reports, where their "Flashed Power" is indicated as measured for each one separately (in combination with the unique manufacturer number - barcode).

POWER INVERTERS

The inverters are from the Chinese manufacturer Huawei and are three-phase, "string inverter" type and have protection (watertightness class) IP65 for external installation (outdoor installation). A total of 18 inverters will be installed. CE certification and follow the following safety standards: • IEC/EN 62109-1, IEC/EN 62109-2, EN 61000-6-2, EN 61000-6-3, EN 61000-3-11, EN 61000-3-12 They also follow the following network standards: • CEI 0-21, CEI 0-16, DIN V VDE V 0126-1-1, VDE-AR-N 4105, G59/3, EN 50438 (not for all national appendices), RD 1699, RD 413, RD 661, PO 12.3, AS 4777, BDEW, NRS-097-2-1, MEA, PEA, IEC 61727, IEC 60068, IEC 61683, VFR-2014, IEC 62116

SUPPORT SYSTEM OF PV FRAMES

The PV panels were installed on metal bases of variable inclination, made of hot-dip galvanized steel or of aluminum alloy profiles with the necessary condition of their full compliance with existing specifications and certifications.

CONFIGURATION OF THE SPACE

The installation area of the PV system has been properly prepared to facilitate the installation of the support systems of the PV panels and the rest of the equipment based on the layout plan.

FENCE

SUBSTATION

The fields are harmonized with all international IEC specifications concerning the construction and materials of Medium Voltage switchboards. The construction of the SM6 fields is in accordance with the ISO9001 quality regulation. All necessary certificates are available. Each cell of the SM6 ADVAN6 series meets all requirements regarding the safety of personnel and equipment.

OTHER ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

DC CABLES

A special type of cable was used where the conductive material of the cable is copper, of suitable cross-section, flexible, non-flammable and has specifications for protection against ultraviolet radiation and operation at high temperatures.

CABLES A .C

For the AC part of the PV Station, NYY type cables (J1VV-R) manufactured according to VDE-0271 were used.

COMMUNICATION CABLES

• UTP cable for image transmission from cameras • LIYCY(TP) for transmitting signals from the inverters and other sensors to the control center

GROUNDING AND LIGHTNING PROTECTION

Earthings, external protection and equivalent protections of the park. Earthing (external protection and equipotential connections) complies with IEC (EN) 62305 – 3 for Protection Level III.

SELECTION OF CLAMPS

The connections between the earthing materials and the rest of the conductors were made with connectors that have screws and bolts with a certified discharge capacity of 100kA 10/350μsec.

PROTECTION OF ELECTRICAL-ELECTRONIC DEVICES FROM SHOCK VOLTAGE

• Protection of the General Installation Panel H.T. from direct and indirect AC lightning strikes. • Protection of General self-consumption table from direct and indirect lightning strikes in alternating current. • Protection of self-consumption sub-panels from indirect lightning strikes in alternating current. • Protection of the communication circuits of the inverters (RS 485) from indirect direct current lightning strikes. • Protection of a simple two-wire telephone line from direct and indirect direct current lightning strikes . • CCTV circuit protection indirect lightning strikes on direct current.

PV STATION MONITORING SYSTEM

The facilities include appropriately selected sensors for measuring meteorological parameters and PV plant operation data, i.e. solar radiation intensity sensors, outdoor temperature and PV generator operating temperature sensors, instantaneous power and energy meters at the PV output and of the inverter etc. The monitoring system records and stores the data so as to allow continuous analysis of the performance of the PV park.
